Thelma Waddle shakes out a rug on the back porch of her home in Birdseye, Indiana. At 90 years old, Waddle is one of the longest-standing residents of Birdseye, having celebrated her birthday in September 2018. She lives alone in the modest house she and her late husband purchased shortly after their marriage in 1950.
